In Huize province I got to experience four seasons on one day, capitalism and communism in the same village, simpleness and attractiveness of the same scene!

Being invited to the Humanity Photo Award 2011 awarding ceremony as a nominee I spend exactly 24 hours to get to Kunming, the capital city of Yunnan province in China. Fortunately I received HPA Documentary Award from China Folklore Photographic Association (CFPA) un Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO). This was continued with amazing trip around Huize province together with a bunch of great photographers.

Historically Huize has been served as a magnificent center of bronze mining, minting, casting of bronze coins, an important official currency minter for all the Chinese Dynasties. Now the glory has gone with the wind, the downfall of the Dynasties and the dry out of the bronze brought this region back to a still place.
